Lead Associate

As a key member of the IMG MP&L team, you will be responsible for leading TVM efforts to achieve freight cost reduction targets & Provide Optimal Logistics cost for New model Programs. This involves generating innovative ideas, collaborating across functions and plants, and engaging with external partners (suppliers, 3PLs, etc.) to drive efficiency. You will analyze logistics costs, design optimal networks for new programs, and identify opportunities for direct shipment and work with Engineering & Purchase on localization. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting business case development and influencing key decisions related to logistics cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead TVM idea generation and implementation to meet budget targets.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Packaging, Finance, Engineering, Purchasing, etc.) to identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Analyze logistics costs and design optimal networks for new programs.

• Develop and maintain MP&L program cost models.

• Identify and mitigate risks related to logistics cost increases.

• Evaluate direct shipment and localization opportunities.

• Support the development of business cases and provide recommendations to management.

• Conduct regular progress reviews with plants and functions.

• Engage with external agencies (suppliers, 3PLs, etc.) to drive TVM initiatives.

• Drive innovative waste reduction initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or management (Finance) with MBA preferred.

• 8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or finance/costing.

• Good understanding on Local & International logistics business and network designs.

• Proven ability to generate cost reduction ideas and solve complex problems in logistics.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial tools for cost analysis.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.

• Must be proficient in MS Office tools.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Qlikview, Tableau) and data wrangling tools (e.g., Alteryx) is preferred.

• Expertise in scripting, programming, or forecasting techniques would be a significant advantage
