Laundry Attendant

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and crew uniforms according to company standards

Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines

Inspect linens for stains and damages, and report any issues to the Laundry Supervisor

Maintain inventory of linens and supplies, and place orders as needed

Ensure that all laundry areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-stocked at all times

Follow safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a hygienic working environment

Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed, such as cleaning public areas and guest cabins

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred

Knowledge of laundry equipment and techniques

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
