Role Description
This is a full-time Key Account Manager role based in Mumbai. The Key Account Manager will acquire and nurture relationships with key institutional clients in the non-profit sector, increase current volumes, and ensure optimal customer satisfaction. The role will also involve aligning client needs with the company's strategic goals and coordinating with internal teams to meet key account objectives.
Qualifications
Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key decision-makers
Identify upcoming budgets, health programs, and other opportunities for medicines, diagnostics, consumables, and medical equipment.
Lead end-to-end sales cycles: from opportunity identification → solution → technical & commercial proposals → negotiations → contract closure → post-order coordination.
Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for the assigned portfolio.
Proven ability to deliver excellent Customer Service to key clients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Who You Are
5-6 years of experience in institutional sales of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, or consumables.
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven track record of closing mid-large-value with corporate/institutional customers
Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or degree in Pharmacy/Life Sciences is preferred.
