IT QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD (CONTRACTUAL)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to oversee manual and automated testing for our Core Banking System. This role involves leading and executing QA activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the system meets high standards of functionality, security, and performance. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of testing principles, QA processes, and test automation frameworks, along with experience in banking applications. They should be skilled in developing test strategies, performing handson testing, and collaborating with development teams to deliver a robust and reliable system.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage manual and automated testing efforts for the Core Banking System.

• Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies, plans, and test cases.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure system reliability.

• Automate test scripts using tools like Selenium, JMeter, Terra, or similar frameworks.

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand system requirements.

• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Click Up.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and best practices. • Provide training and guidance on QA best practices to team members.

• Continuously optimize testing processes and explore new automation technologies. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
