Internship Ureal XR engineer

Job description As an intern at our company, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects using Unreal Engine. Your roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: • Training & Development: • Participate in training sessions focused on Unreal Engine, including blueprints, C++ programming, and networking. • Engage in hands-on learning to reinforce understanding of environment design and blueprints optimization. • Project Assistance: • Collaborate with senior developers and designers on real-time projects, contributing to the development of our product. • Assist in the implementation of features and game mechanics using C++ within the Unreal Engine environment. • Support the integration of cloud services as directed by the development team. • Blueprints Optimization: • Work on optimizing blueprints to enhance performance and efficiency in the game environment. • Analyze blueprints for potential improvements and suggest best practices for enhancing project workflows. • Environment Design: • Assist in creating visually engaging and immersive environments using Unreal Engine tools. • Contribute design ideas and collaborate with the design team to enhance the overall aesthetic and functionality of game levels. • Networking: • Gain knowledge of Unreal Engine’s networking features and assist in implementing network functionalities as needed. • Participate in testing and debugging networked components to ensure seamless player interactions. • Documentation and Collaboration: • Document your learning experiences, solutions, and challenges encountered during the internship. • Collaborate closely with team members, providing insights and feedback based on your work and experiences. • Feedback and Improvement: • Actively solicit feedback from mentors and peers, and use that feedback to improve your skills and contributions. • Remain open and adaptable to new ideas, methodologies, and technologies relevant to game development. • Professional Development: • Take initiative to learn additional skills relevant to your interests and career goals within game development. • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas that can enhance the overall development process. Qualifications • A passion for game development and a desire to learn and grow within the industry. • Basic knowledge or experience with Unreal Engine, C++, or game design is a plus, though not mandatory. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team. Duration • This internship will last between 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of further opportunities based on performance.
