Job description Internship Program: Medical Device Product Executive Company: GENOTRONICS Location: Mumbai, India Program Start Date: April 1, 2025 Duration: 3 Months or 6 Months (Option available at the time of offer) Position Overview: This internship program provides aspiring professionals with hands-on experience in the medical device industry. The intern will assist the Senior Sales and Biomedical team, gaining valuable insights into the sales cycle, product knowledge, and customer interaction within the medical device field. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in a career in medical device sales, biomedical engineering, or related fields. Responsibilities: • Product Knowledge Support: Assist the Biomedical team in understanding the technical specifications, features, and applications of medical devices. This may include attending product training sessions and shadowing biomedical engineers. • Sales Support: Support the Senior Sales team by preparing sales materials, presentations, and quotations. Assist in tracking sales leads and maintaining customer records. • Customer Interaction: Observe and, where appropriate, participate in customer interactions, including product demonstrations, installations, and troubleshooting. • Market Research: Conduct basic market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential customer needs. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and product information. • Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support to the Sales and Biomedical teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence. • Other duties: As assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications: • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business Administration (Marketing/Sales), or a related field. • Strong interest in the medical device industry. • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Ability to learn quickly and work independently. • Highly organized and detail-oriented. • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Compensation and Benefits: • Monthly stipend of INR 12,000. • Train travel pass within Mumbai. • Internship completion certificate upon successful completion of the program.
