Job description Intern - Technical Content WriterWHAT YOU'LL DO • Assist in researching, writing, editing, and proofreading technical content for software products, including user guides, manuals, and tutorials. • Work closely with Software Developers, Product Managers, and Subject Matter Experts to understand technical concepts and simplify them for documentation. • Create engaging and user-friendly content that explains product features and functionalities. • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines in all technical content. • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance content quality. • Optimize content for search engines, including basic keyword research and implementation. • Support content development projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks. • Provide input on improving product usability and user experience through content analysis. • Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams to align content with business needs. • Help maintain documentation repositories and version control systems. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field. • 0-6 months of experience in technical writing or content creation. • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. • Basic understanding of software development concepts and technical documentation. • Familiarity with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word and Confluence. • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and content management systems is a plus. • Ability to organize tasks, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects. • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with different departments. • Understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization is a plus. • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. • Experience in creating technical social media posts, corporate presentations, or whitepapers is a plus.
