About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1.Worked closely with the Institutional partnership unit at WaterAid India and support in conducting donor mapping, research, and analysis to identify new funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.

2.Support in coordinating with internal stakeholders and the Resource Mobilization team and assist in consolidating inputs from program, finance, and operations teams for proposals and report. Assist in preparing donor reports, presentations, and other donor communication in line with donor guidelines and timelines.

3.Provide support in due diligence process of donors and other partners including complication of internal documents and coordination with internal stakeholders

Assist in tracking compliance obligations and flagging upcoming deadlines and other risks to senior leadership

JSCF or WaterAid India (WAI) seeks to improve access to clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene for everyone, everywhere. Our work is focused on the following themes:

Safe, assured drinking water at the household level.

Safely managed sanitation.

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in Institutions (Anganwadis, Schools and Health Care Facilities).

Hygiene Education and Behaviour Change.

WAI country office is based in Delhi with State Offices in Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Raipur, and Patna. We currently work in 11+ states across the country. Being a direct implementing agency, we have our district and block-level teams located close to our intervention villages.
