Installation Technician Internship

We're seeking individuals with a technical aptitude and a keen eye for detail to excel in installation tasks and deliver exceptional service to our clients. Join us and embark on an exciting journey in the digital signage space! In order to be eligible for the internship, you need to meet the following criteria: 18-34 years old Candidate is defined in accordance with the BBBEE definition South African citizen Unemployed Has not completed a Yes4Youth program previously. Duties & Responsibilities Installation Planning: Daily/weekly/monthly meetings to discuss the job at hand and requirements with the relevant installer. Ensure stock is ready for installations. Assist the installer with any task necessary to complete the job. Installations: Assist the installer with any task necessary to complete the installation. Assisting preparation prior to installations. Ensure working sites are clean and safe from hazards and maintain cleanliness through the installation. General ad hoc projects around the office when required assisting the G.M with any task deemed fit Key Performance Indicators: Understand what you are doing, understand the system/s you are installing. You will be tested periodically on your knowledge of the systems you are assisting with and the technicalities (setup and configuration) thereof. Ensure sites are always clean and tidy on job completion. Ensure the installer has all the stock that is required for the upcoming installations Conforming to MT stock procedures when dealing with stock. General: Always be professional. Communicate clearly with clients and co-workers. Make sure you are always presentable / professional) when representing Moving Tactics. Always follow company processes, procedures and values. Comply with all health & safety procedures. Make sure that you always have and use the required PPE and work safely. With reasonable notice, be available for after hours and weekend installations when necessary. Ensure you are punctual at all times. A go-getter and positive attitude will go a long way in succeeding in this role. Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements: Minimum of a matric qualification is required, preferably with a technical subject (TD, Woodwork, CS etc) Experience in installing digital / electronic equipment (AV, PC’s , POS etc) preferred Basic computer skills Package & Remuneration Basic Salary - R6,000.00 per month.
