Job description Business + Product Intern @SkyServe About Us: SkyServe is sensor agnostic "Insights-as-a-Service" edge computing platform on-board satellites, providing inferences to industries, system integrators, and geospatial developers. SkyServe is looking for a Business + Product Intern to join their motivated team in Bengaluru Responsibilities: As a Business + Product Intern, you will assist in optimising our outbound-sales machinery and curating leads. Your responsibilities will include: • Conducting outbound prospecting to find leads from various databases such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Tracxn. • Experiment with different databases, messaging strategies, personalisation levels, sequence lengths, and outreach channels (email, LinkedIn, etc.). • Researching competitors and industry trends to enhance our outreach approach. • Support the business development team in building new relationships and succeeding in scaling existing ones, including reaching out to leads via different channels to generate new sales opportunities. • Identifying prospect needs and building long-term, trusting relationships with them will qualify leads as sales opportunities. • Looping in feedback from prospect responses to refine messaging further. • Focusing on improving email deliverability, monitoring open rates / reply rates, tracking domain reputation, etc. • Creating and updating leads, setting up pipelines, email templates, and automation in CRM. • Running custom campaigns to conduct A/B testing. • Collaborate with various functions and navigate seamlessly across different teams such as BD, Product and Technical teams. Requirements: • A multidisciplinary mentality and the ability to process large amounts of information are essential for success in this role. • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Sciences, Economics, Business, or a related field • Deep interest in aerospace, space systems, earth observation, and the space industry’s economics • Interest in sales, business strategy and relationship management • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a start-up environment, Solid hustle and entrepreneurial mindset; thrive under uncertainty. • Strong decision-making skills, negotiation, and persuasion skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English • Comfortable working late at night to ensure sufficient overlap with US prospects. • Prior relevant experience in lead databases, sales engagement tools, ChatGPT, design tools, etc., is a plus.
