Duties And Responsibilities
Purpose
Job opportunity for a recent university graduate to assist in implementing Integrity Management services on pressure systems for clients across the Middle East. These services are to be in line with Oceaneering’s and our client’s documentary requirements, as well as onshore / offshore legislation(s) where applicable.
Graduate Trainee -- Engineering is invited to participate and assist in the following
Processes, standardization, simplification
Risk based inspection analytics
Knowledge management
Innovation and technology development
Compliance with international regulations/standards
Technical governance for Inspection/Integrity services
Value-add engineering
Functions
ESSENTIAL
Assist Principal Engineering personnel to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and client standards.
Assist Principal Engineering personnel to perform Integrity Management, Inspection Management, Risk Assessment, and Corrosion Engineering activities for Pressure Systems in accordance with client contractual requirements
Assist in development of Client integrity strategy documentation, and ensure implementation of corrosion management control strategy; Develop KPIs relevant to corrosion performance measurement
Conduct corrosion study of operation facilities (mainly onshore, occasionally offshore); Prepare Corrosion Control Document (CCD); Prepare CMP documents; Conduct Corrosion Risk Assessment (CRA) of pipelines
Write accurate and concise reports or documents comprising of review, analyses, and trend integrity management or risk assessment data and outputs
Assist in develop comprehensive examination schemes (and where required workpacks) for inspections and activities based on RBI outcomes, ensuring all parties are fully conversant with all aspects of the work scopes
Assist the Senior Inspection/Integrity Engineer in the production of pipework and vessel inspection work-scope
Ensure the effective application of innovative inspection and corrosion engineering applications & technologies
Safety
Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable to ensure a safe working environment.
Other
Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence.
Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
University degree in an engineering discipline
Candidates must be an Emirati National with a Family Book. As this is essential to the role.
For a candidate to be considered they must be in a commutable distance to our Abu Dhabi office.
