Ace1 Media is looking for a passionate Software Engineer Intern to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone eager to work on real-world, high-traffic web applications that support digital content and advertising. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with Next.js and TypeScript in a production environment, while being mentored directly by our Lead Developer/CTO.

What You'll Do

• Help build and maintain modern full-stack web applications

• Implement new features based on product and design specifications

• Support performance tuning for speed, SEO, and ad delivery

• Work with external APIs (e.g., Google Ads, analytics tools)

• Participate in stand-ups, code reviews, and development sprints

• Assist in monitoring and debugging application issues

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• Solid foundation in JavaScript and TypeScript

• Hands-on experience with Next.js (school projects, internships, or personal work)

• Familiarity with React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL or similar databases

• Basic Git knowledge and an understanding of version control

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Clear communication and ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to Have

• Experience working with cloud services like AWS or Azure

• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and web performance best practices

• Exposure to Playwright or other testing frameworks

• Familiarity with FFMPEG or handling media processing

• Interest in analytics, ad tech, or monetization platforms
