Job Title: Cost Analyst

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and tracking shipment-related costs for all eCommerce orders.

Main Responsibilities:

Analyze and track shipment-related costs for all eCommerce orders

Generate and maintain reports on shipment expenses, including comparisons to budgeted costs, historical data, and industry benchmarks

Identify discrepancies or anomalies in 3PL shipment costing and work with relevant teams to resolve them

Collaborate with operations team to identify opportunities for reducing shipment costs

Work with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize the efficiency of shipments and reduce costs

Verify freight invoices, ensuring accurate billing of shipment costs

Coordinate with the finance team to process and reconcile shipment-related payments

Ensure accurate data entry into logistics and finance systems related to shipment costs

Leverage technology and software (e.g., TMS, ERP systems) to track, calculate, and report shipment expenses efficiently

Assist in system integration for shipment cost automation and process improvements
