Job Title: Fire Safety & Site Engineer Location: Pan India (Head Office: Pune) Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Construction/Infrastructure/Manufacturing Job Summary: The Fire Safety & Site Engineer will be responsible for ensuring fire safety compliance, implementing safety protocols, and overseeing site engineering activities across multiple locations in India. The role requires expertise in fire prevention, risk assessment, emergency response planning, and overall site management to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities:Fire Safety Responsibilities: • Conduct fire risk assessments and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. • Develop and implement fire safety policies, procedures, and training programs for employees. • Inspect fire suppression systems, alarms, extinguishers, and other fire protection equipment regularly. • Coordinate fire drills, emergency evacuation plans, and response training. • Liaise with government authorities for fire safety audits, inspections, and approvals. • Investigate fire incidents and recommend corrective actions. Site Engineering Responsibilities: • Supervise construction, installation, and maintenance of fire safety systems at project sites. • Monitor site operations to ensure adherence to safety and engineering standards. • Conduct regular site inspections, identify hazards, and enforce corrective measures. • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors for site execution. • Maintain records of project progress, safety reports, and engineering documentation. • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations related to safety and construction. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor's/Diploma in Fire Safety Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fire safety and site management roles. • Knowledge of National Building Code (NBC), Fire & Safety Standards, and OSHA regulations. • Certification in Fire Safety/Health & Safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is an added advantage. • Proficiency in site management, risk assessment, and fire safety compliance. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and team coordination abilities. Other Requirements: • Willingness to travel across India for site inspections and project coordination. • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects efficiently. • Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach to safety management.
