Job Description
Introduction The Data Specialist and Workflow Intern is responsible for assisting in the daily updates of assessments across all provinces, ensuring the accurate recording of data and facilitating communication between Champions and the Admin Team. This role provides essential administrative and organizational support to maintain the smooth and efficient daily operations of the office. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive and eager to learn, with a strong foundation in data management and workflow optimization. Duties & Responsibilities Assist in coordinating and maintaining the flow of information between Champions and the Admin Team. Handle client queries via phone and email, ensuring timely and professional responses. Promote accuracy by thoroughly checking data before approval for the next stage. Utilize data analysis tools (DAU) to input and maintain entries in the Live Document. Follow up on outstanding documents from attorneys and other stakeholders. Ensure that the Live Document and Main Workflow remain updated at all times. Manage workflow processes and address workflow-related queries effectively. Identify and resolve complex operational issues within the business. Engage with third parties to negotiate and manage external relationships on behalf of the organization. Provide support in preparing reports and data visualizations to assist with decision-making. Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency. Desired Experience & Qualification A qualification in Business Administration, Data Science or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position is preferred Strong Excel skills and experience in data manipulation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and workflow management tools. Excellent organizational, social and presentation skills. Knowledge of administrative procedures acquired through training and/or experience. Attention to detail in handling data and correspondence. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to improve workflow efficiencies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, proactive and able to work well under pressure. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
