Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer with expertise in Cisco, Arista, and F5 network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance data center networks, ensuring optimal uptime, security, and scalability. This role requires hands-on experience in routing, switching, security, load balancing, and automation within a data center environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and manage Cisco and Arista networking solutions within the data center.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, and MPLS networks.
• Implement and manage F5 BIG-IP load balancers, including LTM, GTM, ASM, and APM modules.
• Monitor and optimize data center network performance, ensuring high availability and low latency.
• Perform regular firmware upgrades, patches, and configuration backups.
• Work with firewalls, load balancers, and security appliances to secure data center environments.
• Automate network tasks using Python, Ansible, or other automation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud and hybrid network architectures.
• Troubleshoot network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Document network configurations, policies, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security policies, and regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience working in a data center networking environment.
• Strong expertise in Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, and Arista EOS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP load balancers (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM).
• In-depth knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Experience with VXLAN, EVPN, and Spine-Leaf architectures.
• Proficiency in network automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with packet analysis tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Certifications like CCNP, CCIE (Cisco), Arista ACE, F5-CTS, or equivalent are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with network security (firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs).
• Knowledge of SDN solutions and Software-Defined Data Centers (SDDC).
• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for network automation.
