About the role
As a Customs Management professional at PT BQPLUS MEDICAL DEVICES, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless import and export of medical equipment. This full-time position is based in Surabaya, East Java, and will involve overseeing all aspects of customs compliance and logistics mainly to support the company's growth and expansion in the region. In additional, you'll assist in Quality Assurance staff from HQ to audit factory partner in Indonesia, in order to make all stuff compliance.
What you'll be doing
1.Liaising with customs authorities to facilitate the timely clearance of imported goods;
2.Reviewing and processing all necessary documentation for import and export activities;
3.Monitoring changes in customs regulations and adapting procedures accordingly;
4.Coordinating with logistics providers to optimize the transportation and delivery of goods;
5.Maintaining accurate records and reporting on customs-related activities;
6.Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance;
7.Providing guidance and training to the wider team on customs-related matters;
8.Conducting audits of production records and quality inspection reports from suppliers at the Indonesian factory to ensure adherence to GMP standards;
9.Overseeing traceability management for the entire process of supplier production documentation to ensure compliance with local registration and production licensing requirements;
10. Perform additional tasks related to customs and logistics, quality assurance as reasonably requested by management.
