Our fast-paced, ever-growing company requires a Creditor Clerk to join our dynamic team. Required Skills Accounting: 1 to 2 years Candidate Requirements KEY DUTIES Ensure correct approvals are obtained to allow the processing and payment of supplier invoices nsure service level agreement, routine invoices and municipal invoices are received, processed and paid for on time. Ensure ad hoc invoices and deposits for job commencement are processed and paid in the next payment run. Capture invoices & credit notes onto the accounting package WeconnectU and ensure correctly allocated to the correct General Ledger accounting code. Reconciliation of supplier accounts to resolve supplier disputes. Export payment batch from WeconnectU and import into Bank (Absa and FNB) for batch payment. Once-off/Beneficiary payments Second authorization of payment approvals Assist the Financial Manager with the payroll function on Sage Pastel Payroll including calculation of payroll and distribution of pay slips. Payment of salaries & wages Calculation, Reconciliation, Recovery and General Transaction Entries of Municipal Expenses. Loading & Processing of Debit Orders via Netcash. Other functions as required from time to time MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Matric with at least 1-2 years’ experience in 85% of the key duties as described above. Experience in the Property industry, Excel and WeconnectU will be advantageous.
