Position : Construction Materials Sales Representative (CSSR) - Nairobi

We are looking for Construction Materials Sales Representative (CSSR).

Responsibilities :

The CSSR will be responsible for the following;

Generate leads and onboard new clients to purchase the products of the company

Maintain strong business relationships with existing clients to identify new business opportunities

Build a client portfolio with residential and commercial construction communities

Build business relationships with architects, engineers and contractors

Complete documents on time, such as customer proposal and construction bids

Ensure all construction bids are consistent by creating a template

Achieve new sales call targets per month within a specified territory

Familiarise themselves with construction material quantities for different jobs

Identify and attend trade shows to contact industry players

Maintain acceptable profit margins

Work closely with the production and finance teams to secure excellent customer service

Qualifications

Minimum diploma level education in a relevant field. Those with a construction related qualification will have added advantage.

A minimum of 1 year experience in sales

Good customer care skills

Negotiation skills

Communication and writing skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision
