CIVIL SITE ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision: Monitoring the daily work on a construction site and assigning tasks to workers.
• Quality Control: Ensuring that cement, wire, and other construction materials are of good quality and verifying that the work is done according to technical drawings.
• Safety: Ensure that workers wear helmets and protective clothing and create a safe environment to prevent accidents.
• Reporting: Submitting daily progress reports to managers on work progress, costs, and materials required.
• Problem Solving: Identifying technical errors that occur during construction and finding immediate solutions.

Required Skills

• Technical skills: Ability to read construction drawings and plan work accordingly.
• Software knowledge: Ability to handle software such as AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera.
• Management: Time management and leadership skills to complete work within a specific deadline.
• Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with clients, architects, and workers.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE or B.Tech in Civil Engineering) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Most companies give preference to those with 2 to 5 years of experience.
