What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

Education: Matric certificate (compulsory).

Language Proficiency: High proficiency in English.

Qualifications: Applicants with a Child Care Qualification and a valid SACE number will be given priority.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience working with children.

Location: Must reside in and around Douglasdale, and have reliable transport access to and from the school.

A clear criminal record.

The responsibilities are:

Child Supervision and Care: Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Assisting Teachers: Supporting teachers with child care activities and classroom teaching aids, including tasks such as cutting and laminating materials.

Aftercare Supervision: Overseeing children during aftercare hours to ensure they are engaged and cared for appropriately.

Cleaning and Basic Support: Helping maintain a clean, organized environment and providing general assistance as needed.

Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION

The successful candidate will start on 05 May 2025.
