About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
1. Assist the team in executing BFSI and corporate client engagements.
2. Understand financial products and their impact on reporting requirements, as well as broader financial services operations, balance sheet, and P&L.
3. Apply accounting treatment for different products as per local regulatory reporting requirements and accounting standards.
4. Undertake discussions with client business users to understand business requirements.
5. Document requirements related to the functional areas.
6. Assist in documenting BRDs, functional specifications, workflow documents, and detailed data-mapping sheets.
7. Assist in designing automation solutions related to data flow, regulatory reporting, and MIS in line with business requirements.
8. Evaluate changes in regulatory requirements and ensure clients' business processes are enabled to comply with regulatory requirements.
9. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders by addressing concerns in a timely manner.
10. Play a techno-functional role in the product team.
11. Validate regulatory reports, ensure data quality, and support SIT/UAT for reporting outputs.
12. Demonstrate a proactive approach toward process improvement and query resolution.
13. Communicate project updates to stakeholders and prepare regular status reports highlighting progress, challenges, and key milestones.
14. Drive day-to-day execution of assigned client projects.
15. Develop a strong understanding of the client's business, strategic priorities, industry dynamics, and market conditions, and recommend/implement improvements that deliver ongoing value.

Other requirements
1. Number of years of experience expected: 0 to 2 years.
2. Areas of past experience preferred: Regulatory reporting in the BFSI and/or consulting space, requirements gathering, finance data.
3. Educational qualification required: CA, ACCA.
4. Additional certifications preferred: None.
5. Language requirements: Ability to write and speak fluently in English.
6. Technology proficiency preferred: MS Excel, MS Word.
7. Preferred geography of previous work experience: India/Middle East/APAC.
