Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day-to-day US benefits administration including all benefit offerings such as medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, COBRA, flexible spending, health savings, life, disability, voluntary, and 401(k) programs.
Administer Leave of Absence for FMLA, ADA, State leave, and other leaves of absences.
Provide education and support to employees on benefits matters regarding eligibility, coverage, and plan provisions.
Coordinate with US benefits vendors to resolve all benefit-related issues, including eligibility, enrollments, pay, and changes in benefits and data transfer.
Conduct benefits orientations for new hires.
Audit enrollments, payroll deductions reports, engage with employees for missed benefits and process adjustments or refunds related to benefits premiums changes.
Reconcile benefits provider billings and prepare documents for payment of invoices.
Provide support with the annual benefits audits and reporting, including ACA, Non Discrimination Testing, and other benefits related matters.
Provide support to employees during annual US open enrollment.
Work with Benefits Broker to create communication materials about benefits—for example, new hire enrollment packages, brochures, newsletters, articles, and intranet information.
Assist with the internal Benefits Program.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for the benefits department functions.
Identify and escalate priority issues to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards.
Perform all functions according to established Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
