📋 Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer (QA) to design automated test scripts, optimize test frameworks, and ensure high-quality product releases.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to plan, build, and execute automated test suites for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

The ideal candidate should be strong in logic, automation tools, debugging, and quality assurance methodologies.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts

Create and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.)

Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing

Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools

Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and improve test coverage

Write clean, maintainable automation code with proper documentation

Implement CI/CD test pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions

Participate in test planning, estimation, and quality risk discussions

Analyze test reports and ensure efficient defect reproduction

🧩 Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

Strong understanding of QA concepts, SDLC, and STLC

Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

Familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, or similar frameworks

Knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript (any one language)

Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured

Basic understanding of Git version control

Strong analytical and debugging skills

Attention to detail, accuracy, and logical thinking

💡 Preferred Skills:

Experience with Appium for mobile automation

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)

Understanding of cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, LambdaTest)

Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)

Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber

Ability to write clear test plans, test cases, and reports
