Assistant Repairman - Hotel

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the maintenance and repair of all hotel equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work On Board Cruise Ship

Conduct routine inspections of hotel areas and equipment to identify any issues or potential problems

Respond to guest requests for maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner

Work closely with the Repairman to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues

Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed

Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies and equipment

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance work

Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in maintenance or repair work preferred

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed

Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
