SENIOR ARCHITECT

Job Title: Senior Architect

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Architect with 3 to 5 years of professional experience to lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong design leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills, along with a deep understanding of architectural standards, construction processes, and client coordination. As a Senior Architect at Anarchment Studio, you will play a key role in driving design excellence, mentoring junior team members, and delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership & Design Development:

Lead projects through all design stages, including concept, schematic design, design development, and execution.

Develop and present strong architectural concepts, design narratives, and detailed drawings.

Oversee design quality and ensure alignment with client requirements, budgets, and timelines.

Provide creative direction and design solutions while maintaining functional and aesthetic integrity.

2. Technical Expertise & Documentation:

Prepare and review detailed architectural drawings, working drawings, and construction documentation.

Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and statutory requirements.

Review shop drawings, material samples, and technical submittals to ensure design intent is maintained.

3. Project & Team Management:

Coordinate and manage project teams, including junior architects, consultants, and vendors.

Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical support and design feedback.

Plan project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.

4. Client & Consultant Coordination:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.

Lead client meetings, presentations, and design reviews with clarity and confidence.

Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to integrate technical inputs seamlessly into designs.

5. Construction Administration:

Oversee site execution and conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, progress, and compliance.

Address site-related issues, respond to RFIs (Requests for Information), and coordinate with contractors for smooth execution.

Review site reports, BOQs, and variations to ensure adherence to approved designs.

6. Research, Innovation & Sustainability:

Drive innovation by researching new materials, construction technologies, and design trends.

Integrate sustainable design strategies and environmentally responsible practices into projects.

Contribute to improving internal design processes and studio standards.

7. Quality Control & Compliance:

Ensure all deliverables meet the firm’s quality standards and industry best practices.

Conduct design reviews and quality checks to minimize errors and improve efficiency.

Maintain proper documentation and project records throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

6–10 years of professional experience in architectural design, detailing, and project execution.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of advanced 3D rendering tools is an advantage.

In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and statutory approvals.

Proven leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication, client-handling, and team-management skills.

Strong commitment to design excellence and sustainable architecture.
