Apprentice - Armature Winder

Introduction LH Marthinusen a division of ACTOM (Pty) Ltd is hiring - Apprentices (Armature Winder) to join a 4-year Apprenticeship Programme. Successful applicants will be awarded a Limited Duration Contract with the possibility of permanent employment. Training for the apprentices will be aligned with the requirements of MerSETA including qualifying for a trade test. Duties & Responsibilities Adhere to the prescribed training module as stated in the training manual Completing all modules, tests and other required evaluations Keeping a log (record) of everything learned Ensure housekeeping is always of a high standard Ensure adherence to all relevant company policies, procedures, and limits of authority Assisting in the relevant allocated department but also learning of other aspects of the company Collaborate with mentors and ask job related questions SHEQ (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001) Familiarise yourself and adhere with the relevant Quality Management systems procedures and works instructions that are relevant to the duties that you received on the job training for. (This includes both practical and classroom training) Ensure that all Works Instructions, Safe Works Instructions, relevant to your duties and responsibilities and Safety Rules are adhere to Desired Experience & Qualification Technical Grade 12 with Mathematics, Engineering Science or N2 with four Electrical Engineering Subjects
