About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Data Collection and Preprocessing: Visit customer sites to gather data, clean raw data from various sources, and perform data wrangling, feature extraction, and feature engineering for AI/ML models. 2. Developing and Training ML Models: Implement machine learning models using libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn, and train and fine-tune models on real-world datasets. 3. Research and Development: Research the latest advancements in AI/ML, suggest improvements for ongoing projects and test different algorithms and techniques to optimize model performance. 4. Testing and Evaluation: Evaluate model performance using metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score, and debug and improve model performance on edge cases. 5. Deployment and Integration: Assist in deploying ML models into production environments, and ensure seamless integration of AI/ML systems with existing infrastructure. 6. Documentation: Document model design, development process, and key findings, and prepare reports and presentations for project updates. 7. Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members, and software engineers, participate in brainstorming sessions, and contribute innovative ideas. 8. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Visualize data patterns and trends using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau. 9. Automation: Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks related to data processing or model training. 10. Problem-Solving: Analyze specific problems, and design AI/ML-based solutions to address them.
