We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Science & AI Research Intern to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for exploring emerging technologies in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The intern will work closely with senior data scientists and AI engineers to support research initiatives, develop data-driven models, and contribute to innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the research, design, and development of machine learning and AI models.

Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets to support project requirements.

Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.

Support the creation of prototypes, predictive models, and automation workflows.

Document research findings, methodologies, and results in a clear and structured format.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and contribute to data-backed decision-making.

Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, data science tools, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning concepts, and data analysis techniques.

Proficiency in Python or R, along with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

Understanding of data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment basics.

Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, etc.).

Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with natural language processing, deep learning architectures, or computer vision.

Experience working on academic or personal projects related to AI or data science.

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
