Accounting Officer

The Accounting Officer is responsible for managing the government contributions program for remote contractors, assisting in tax compliance activities, and providing administrative support for tax-related processes. This role ensures accurate reporting, compliance monitoring, and proper documentation of tax and government contributions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Government Contributions Management

• Oversees the processing and tracking of government contributions for remote contractors,

ensuring timely and accurate remittances.

2. Reporting & Compliance Monitoring

• Prepares reports related to contractor contributions and assists in monitoring tax

compliance.

3. Assistance in Tax Orientation & Compliance

• Supports tax orientation sessions and helps monitor contractor tax compliance.

4. Administrative & Scheduling Support

• Prepares meeting minutes, organizes schedules, and tracks deadlines related to tax

compliance and financial reporting.

5. Future Tax Filing & Reporting Support

• Will eventually assist in tax filing, reporting, and monitoring as part of role expansion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Knowledgeable in government compliances with the BIR, SSS, PHIC, and HDMF for Self-

Employed individuals / Professionals.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills.

• Excellent analytical skills, and attention to details.

• Team player but can work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong ability to cope with tight deadlines.

• Proficient in MS Excel and Google Suite.

• Preferred Metro Manila residents.
