Job Description

Position: Senior Sales Engineer / Account Manager – PSG

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 5–10 Years

Location: New Delhi

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven professional to join our team as Senior Sales Engineer / Account Manager – PSG. The incumbent will lead business development and sales initiatives for pre-packaged software, electronic hardware, and allied services in the electric power sector. This role involves strategic client engagement, market expansion, and achieving revenue objectives through consultative selling and effective relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell software products, hardware solutions, and related services to clients in the power sector.

• Generate new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth through structured sales initiatives.

• Present product portfolios effectively, demonstrating both technical features and business value.

• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closure and post-sales coordination.

• Establish and maintain long-term client relationships with utilities, consultants, EPCs, and industrial customers.

• Coordinate with internal technical teams to support product demonstrations, proposals, and execution.

• Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and feedback for product and business planning.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Relevant experience in sales of pre-packaged products/services in the electrical power sector.

• Practical understanding of power system studies and exposure to simulation tools such as Mi-Power, ETAP, CYMDIST, EDSA, SKM, or DIgSILENT (preferred).

• Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and delivering measurable business outcomes.

• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear commercial propositions for diverse audiences.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Soft Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation abilities.

• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• Analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation.

• Adaptable to varied cultural and work environments.

• Able to work effectively under pressure and in dynamic conditions.

• Strong interpersonal and client engagement skills.

Travel Requirement:

Willingness to travel frequently (50–70%).
