Job Title: Logistics Account Executive

Reports To: Operations Manager / Director – Logistics

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Account Executive to manage client accounts, coordinate transportation and supply chain solutions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of logistics operations, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to solving customer challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients regarding all logistics and supply chain needs.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Coordinate with internal teams and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation solutions.

Monitor shipments and proactively address any delays, issues, or customer concerns.

Prepare and review shipping documents, contracts, and reports.

Negotiate rates and service terms with vendors and clients.

Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling of logistics services.

Maintain accurate account records, billing, and performance metrics.

Collaborate with the finance team to resolve billing issues or discrepancies.

Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and industry regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation services (preferred).

Proven account management or client-facing experience.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software (TMS/ERP).

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations is a plus.
