Senior C# .Net Developer

Job Description

Your role:

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based medical applications with a focus on imaging and health data exchange.

• Implement DICOM workflows (e.g., Storage, Query/Retrieve, Modality Worklist).

• Build and integrate FHIR-compliant RESTful APIs to support clinical interoperability.

• Use GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, ensure code consistency, and reduce boilerplate work.

• Collaborate with product owners, radiologists, and health IT specialists to refine functional and technical requirements.

• Adhere to best practices for coding, testing, performance tuning, and security—especially around patient data.

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to design/code reviews.

You're the right fit if:

• 10+ years of experience in C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core development.

• 4+ years experience in designing and architecting applications, with focus on scalability, performance, maintainability and upgradeability.

• Strong hands-on experience with DICOM standards and workflows.

• Practical experience with FHIR and other HL7 interoperability standards.

• Proficient in using GitHub Copilot or similar AI code assistants as part of daily development.

• Strong code quality focus and experience in usage of tools like Sonar, TICS and Blackduck.

• Experience integrating with PACS, RIS, or EHR systems.

• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and system performance.

• Familiarity with DICOM toolkits like fo-dicom or DCMTK and FHIR libraries such as Firely SDK or HL7 .NET SDK.

• Strong understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy regulations.

• Proficient in designing, writing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Solid experience with SQL databases.

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS ).
