Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) and identify skills gaps in collaboration with department leads
Design, implement, and evaluate both technical and soft-skills learning programs
Facilitate onboarding, compliance, and leadership development training
Manage and optimize the use of learning platforms and LMS tools
Collaborate with HR and business units to align L&D strategies with organizational goals
Monitor and measure training effectiveness using models such as Kirkpatrick or ROI metrics
Maintain training records, reports, and documentation in compliance with HR standards
Coordinate training logistics, including venue setup, materials, vendor management, and inter-regional sessions
Support employee development planning and succession management initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field with a minimum of 6 years' experience in a Learning and Development role, preferably within the manufacturing sector
International HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR (HRCI), or equivalent
Proven expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training evaluation
Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems
Willingness to travel occasionally as required by the role
Based in or willing to relocate to Ikoyi, Lagos
