Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Junior Product Communications Officer will support the company’s internal communications strategy developed by the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications and the Head of Brand & Product Communications, write and disseminate publicity material, promotional materials, and brand/product communications and coordinate promotional efforts.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports the Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications and the Brand & Product Communications Department Head by ensuring timely execution and proper coordination of all marketing efforts for SBF and all of its products through the following:

Deliver campaigns that drive brand, reputational and commercial growth

Agency Management – be responsible for the direction, output and performance of our third-party agencies where applicable

Stakeholder Coordination – work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business so they understand our positioning and what our brand stands for

StoryTelling – identify, frame and bring to life stories that brings our vision to life and strengthens our reputation

Internal Communications – be responsible for employee engagement and internal communications as well as working with the BBG and Customer Engagement Manager on their own direct communication tactics

Content – preparing, writing and editing internal and external materials e.g. employee onboarding, client collaterals, company presentations, thought leadership articles, newsletters, press releases, blogs, videos, etc.

Engage and educate alliance as well channel partners and industry influencers

Champion the brand within the business

Refine and prioritize SBF’s target markets to further expand local presence and maintain local lead by delivering targeted localized online and offline geographical strategies that adheres to the company’s overall brand strategy that resonates locally in key markets

Identify strategic marketing opportunities, partnerships and alliances with a view to acquiring and converting new customers

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or related field

Minimum of 2-5 years' relevant experience in a marketing communications role

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Good time management and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms
