Key Responsibilities:

Hardware installation and troubleshooting

• Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and networking devices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues to ensure system reliability and performance.

• Optimize and upgrade hardware components as needed.

• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and security patches on IT equipment.

• Manage and document inventory of hardware assets and replacement schedules.

• Ensure seamless hardware and software integration.

• Support end-users with technical issues related to IT hardware and peripherals.

• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection regulations.

• Evaluate and recommend new hardware technologies to enhance IT infrastructure.

• Work with vendors and suppliers to procure and maintain IT hardware.

Software Installation and troubleshooting:

• Install, configure, and maintain software applications on desktops, laptops, and servers.

• Troubleshoot software issues, including installation failures, performance slowdowns, and compatibility conflicts.

• Provide technical support to end-users regarding application functionality and error resolution.

• Deploy software updates, patches, and security enhancements.

• Ensure all software installations comply with licensing agreements and organizational policies.

• Maintain detailed documentation of software installation procedures, troubleshooting steps, and resolution logs.

• Collaborate with vendors and software providers to resolve application-related issues.

• Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and testing of new software applications.

• Monitor software performance and provide proactive solutions to enhance efficiency.

• Train users on proper software usage and best practices.

Data Management:

• Ensure timely and accurate data management on NAS/Cloud

• Effectively manage user access on central storage

• Backup & Retrieve data as per project requirements.

• Keep track and maintain the status of the drives to ensure content safety.

• Ensure HDDs are in a good condition before shoot & post shoot to run health checkups of the drives.

• Ensure post shoot that data is properly backed up on NAS/Cloud

• Ensuring multiple backups are created for data safety

• Streamline and centrally manage data by adding tags & metadata.

• Organise and catalogue data on local & virtual servers.

• Effectively manage & catalogue hardware inventory.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in IT hardware and software support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide technical support to non-technical users.

• Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.

• Familiarity with application deployment and system imaging tools

• Experience with enterprise-level software deployment and IT service management tools.

• Knowledge of cloud-based applications and virtualization technologies.
