About the Role

We’re looking for a creative Social Media Video Editor & Storyteller who can conceptualize, shoot, and edit content designed for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan and produce engaging video content to support marketing and brand campaigns

• Shoot and edit short-form videos including student stories, testimonials, events, and behind-the-scenes content

• Repurpose video assets for multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)

• Add motion graphics, subtitles, music, and captions for social optimization

• Work closely with the content and marketing teams to align with campaign goals and timelines

• Stay up to date with trends in video, audio, and storytelling for social media

• Own projects end-to-end; from idea to execution

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in video editing and production, ideally for social or brand content

• Strong portfolio of short-form, story-driven video content

• Proficient in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

• Experience in camera or smartphone shooting (basic lighting and sound skills are a plus)

• Excellent sense of pacing, transitions, and storytelling

• Understanding of social media platforms, formats, and what drives engagement

Bonus Skills

• Motion design / basic After Effects

• Photography skills

• Experience working in education, tech-ecosystems, or storytelling for mission-driven brands
