Junior GIS Data & Market Analyst

Focus

Collect, analyse, interrogate and interpret data in line with applicable methodologies and standards.

Work with Senior Associates to compile feasibility studies for numerous well-known retail portfolios within Africa.

Delivery of assigned projects in line with specific Key Performance Indicator parameters (time, quality, cost, value).

Report writing (conceptual to final stages)

Create accurate market demand models

Type of Projects / Reports: Retail Feasibility Reports, Site Assessments, Network/Portfolio Planning Analyses, ESRI online dashboarding and viewers.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Property, Town & Regional Planning, Business, GIS or a related field is required.

At least 1 year of experience working with feasibility studies.

ESRI ArcGIS knowledge and application.

High proficiency with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented work environment.

Ability to ‘think retail’

Previous exposure to feasibility studies is preferable.

Foundational understanding of data science with exposure to Microsoft PowerBi and Alteryx will be beneficial.

Drivers licence and own reliable transport

Salary

Salary: R15,000 to R20,000/month basic salary, negotiable and dependant on skill and experience.
