IT Security Engineer - IT Consulting - Jakarta (B-120641)

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor systems for security issues.

Install and update security software.

Check for vulnerabilities in networks and systems.

Respond to security alerts and incidents.

Create and maintain security policies.

Conduct regular security audits.

Work with IT teams to improve system security.

Train staff on basic security practices.

Other related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.

Hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.

Experience in implementing security policies and risk management strategies.

Knowledge of cloud security and security architecture in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or CISM.

Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.

Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security.

Familiarity with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools and incident response.

Understanding of encryption, PKI, and access control mechanisms.

Awareness of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
