Job Description
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Welcome and assist customers by offering guidance on product selection, fitting, and general information.
Promote and sell the client’s range of leather footwear, bags, belts, and other accessories.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
Efficiently operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for processing sales and handling customer payments.
Maintain a neat, organized, and clean store environment at all times.
Replenish and restock merchandise while ensuring that product displays are attractive and up to date.
Perform daily opening and closing duties, which include:
Arriving by 9:45 AM to clean, restock, and prepare the store for opening.
Counting cash and preparing reports for the supervisor as required.
Submitting daily sales reports and sharing insights on customer trends and inventory movement.
Providing feedback to management on customer preferences and product demand.
Upholding the client’s brand values and ensuring customers have a positive and satisfying experience.
Handling customer complaints professionally and escalating them when necessary.
Collaborating effectively with team members and store management to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should:
Have previous experience in retail sales (preferred but not mandatory).
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Show a strong customer service orientation and a drive to achieve sales.
Be reliable, honest, self-motivated, and possess a proactive attitude.
Pay attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team.
Be comfortable with basic computer operations and familiar with using POS systems.
