Data Center Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Engineer

Job Description:

Understand the contract scope, specifications, and testing & commissioning requirements for Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems.

Possess engineering experience with ELV products such as structured cabling, access control, CCTV, power and environmental monitoring, BMS, DCIM, and related systems.

Define and clarify ELV product specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness during contract signing.

Support and supervise subcontractors in shop drawing design, equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and obtaining certifications from clients or authorities.

Develop design, implementation, inspection, and testing documentation for ELV system installation to ensure compliance with contractual and design institute requirements.

Support ELV system equipment procurement, ensuring conformance to design specifications.

Act as the technical liaison for ELV systems between the client and subcontractors.

Review shop drawings and material submittals for technical compliance.

Provide technical support and prepare proposals for ELV systems.

Provide on-site implementation support and assist in testing and commissioning proposal preparation.

Review and provide feedback on Uptime TCCF test scripts, including necessary modifications to ensure successful certification.

Prepare and deliver weekly presentations, reports, and project documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical background in Extra-Low Voltage Systems.

Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in ELV system construction, design, and implementation, particularly in data centers.

In-depth knowledge of local ELV technical standards, construction acceptance regulations, testing methods, and certification processes in Indonesia.

Experience working on ELV systems for data center white space of at least 1,000 sqm.

Fluent in English and Indonesian; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.

Preferred certifications: ATD (Accredited Tier Designer by Uptime Institute), CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional by EPI).
