Support project management teams in mechanical, fire protection, and HVAC projects at a leading industry provider with nearly 100 years of experience.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

• Accurately defining project requirements.

• Assisting with creating job schedules.

• Coordinating the delivery of tools and fabrication.

• Identifying and managing personnel assigned to each project and tracking their labor efficiency.

• Attending job progress meetings and initiating change orders and contract progress billings with the Project Manager.

• Learning how to estimate remaining "cost-to-complete" for monthly WIP reporting.

• Managing the day-to-day operations of assigned projects to ensure completion on time and on budget in correlation with the Project Manager.

• Working with clients to brainstorm creative solutions and ensure their needs are met through customized solutions.

• Ensuring projects follow established guidelines for efficient completion.

• Communicating with team members regarding project needs.

• Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Reading and analyzing job cost reports.

• Responding timely to inquiries from management.

• Assisting with collections as required.

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Recent graduate or currently enrolled full-time at an accredited university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Basic understanding of key project management principles and construction processes.

• Knowledge of sprinkler systems/plumbing and previous construction internship/experience is a plus.

• Significant experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
