Job Description
Responsibilities
• Project Delivery: Take complete ownership of the project delivery to the Client achieving delivery targets. Understand client requirements, project scope and deliverables; direct project delivery and client meetings under overall guidance of Partners; direct / guide team members on Assess-Design-Develop-Deliver-Monitor process in various modules / projects; team management and coordination with internal and external stakeholders etc.
• Overseeing work plans for client engagements and leading the delivery of defined project objectives (managing multiple projects), leveraging past domain experience and PwC tools & methodologies
• Business Development: Identification and development of work opportunities, client requirement analysis, development of EoI/ proposals, client presentations, etc. achieving revenue targets.
• Practice Development: Support and lead learning and development initiatives for the team/project/organization.
• Supporting the growth of talent within the practice through recruitment, mentorship and coaching. The candidate would be required to act as a counselor for select number of team members and be responsible for their career growth and development
• Participating in practice development and knowledge transfer activities
• Thought Leadership: Manage research, analysis and delivery of thought leadership reports (global and
domestic).
• Working closely with the service line leader and leadership team to lead strategic initiatives / projects for Capital Projects & Infrastructure team and track progress
• Coordinate with the rest of the Firm / global team to ensure successful pursuits / delivery of projects
Mandatory Skill Sets
Excellent education background with post-graduation in Management (preferred) / other relevant streams (Transport Economics, etc.)
• Consulting / advisory / managerial experience of more than 5 years in the transportation and logistics domain in projects indicatively covering strategy formulation, due diligence, market assessments, feasibility studies, investment decisions, operations, process design / improvement, policy design, technology adoption for business in transportation & logistics, etc.
Preferred Skill Sets
• Prior consulting / advisory experience in business development and client delivery (managing projects) in this space (ports & logistics infrastructure) would be an added merit
• Effective business communication (written and oral) skills are critical requirements, and the individual must be able to interact effectively with other members of the team as well as the client
• Problem-solving capabilities and an attitude to leverage resources to best solve / address the task at hand
• Ability to lead, manage and develop teams / members
• Willingness to travel
