Scope of work
Akili Dada is seeking to engage a consultant who will deliver tailored – coaching and practical sessions on but not limited to:
Project Initiation and planning
Project scope definition, objectives, design and concept development
Stakeholder identification (process and tools), analysis and engagement management
Creating realistic project timelines, milestones and work breakdown structures
Project Execution
Team leadership and coordination.
Resource allocation and management
Risk identification, assessment and mitigation
Monitoring and control
Performance metrics, Progress tracking (tools and systems) and reporting
Quality management
Financial oversight and budget monitoring
Project Communication
Effective team communication (internal and external team communication
frameworks)
Status and progress reporting
Stakeholder engagement and updates
Project closure
Deliverable handover
Lessons learned documentation
Project evaluation and close-out reporting
Deliverables
Develop the assignment budget and work plan on how to conduct coaching for Akili Dada staff.
Hold an inception meeting with Akili Dada staff to go through the Terms of Reference for the assignment; inception report required.
Facilitated coaching sessions (physically/virtually) for selected Akili Dada staff with practical tools and templates.
Progress review reports - provide an assessment report outlining findings and recommendations – summarize session outputs and observed gaps.
Post – Coaching Support - Support in implementing recommendations post the sessions, for a limited follow–up period.
Qualifications
The ideal consulting company should possess the following qualifications:
Extensive experience in Project Management Training and Coaching of 5+ years and above especially with NGO’s or social impact organizations.
Certification in Project Management is added advantage,
Excellent strategic thinking, interpersonal and planning skills.
Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and to contextualize global project management
frameworks to local feminist and youth – led organizational contexts.
