We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer Intern to join our team here in Milpitas, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting internal and external audits, managing the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) tracker, overseeing the Calibration tracker, preparing for audits, and compiling monthly Quality KPI reviews.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Manage the CAPA tracker to monitor and document corrective and preventive actions.

Oversee the Calibration tracker to ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.

Prepare for audits by organizing necessary documentation and coordinating with relevant departments and implement internal audit per prepared Schedule.

Compile and present monthly Quality KPI reviews to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Ensure compliance with ISO14001, ISO16949, and ISO45001 standards.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacture Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 0-2 years of experience working in a related field.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Previous internship experience in a quality engineering or manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Familiarity with quality management systems and statistical analysis tools.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

The expected hourly rate for this position, if filled in California, is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, dependent on specific skills and work experience.
