SUMMARY :
Supervised by the Director of Human Resources, but reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Advisor, the intern primarily acts as support for recruitment tasks by managing the full staffing process for certain roles within the company, as well as employee onboarding.
MAIN TASKS :
Recruitment - 80%
Fulfill labor needs for production positions or other requests;
Post job openings under your responsibility in compliance with internal policies;
Sort résumés received daily for various positions;
Conduct interviews with selected candidates for the positions under your responsibility;
Handle the onboarding and integration of new employees;
Train new employees on company policies (working hours, work teams, absences, employee cards, punching in, etc.) and good manufacturing practices;
Lead new employee tours of the production area;
Communicate staffing needs with various placement agencies;
Ensure deadlines are met on the Trivio platform of the Université de Sherbrooke for the recruitment of interns.
Other Tasks - 20%
Support the HR team on various projects and tasks such as the onboarding program, HR marketing, or other improvement projects;
Respond to employee questions on various topics such as group insurance, group RRSPs, medical forms, social activities, job openings, etc.;
Perform any other related tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing university studies in a field relevant to the position
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Strong organizational skills
Aptitude for finding creative solutions
Demonstrates autonomy and proactivity
Ability to manage multiple files/tasks simultaneously
Strong listening and communication skills
Good command of the English language
