Claims Assessment
Manage the initial and ongoing portfolio of claims within agreed service standards and duration targets
Monitor the progress of a claim
Liaising with the Insurer to receive claim updates and speed along claim progress
Process new insurance claims notifications
Collect and collate accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim
Working with risk analysists and underwriters
Manage all administration aspects of the claim, ensuring that file notes, logs and diaries for each client are completed on time and accurately
Adhere to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards
Answer general incoming calls as required
Manage high volume of calls and emails
Handle queries to limits of role or delegate to the most appropriate staff member
Ensure the customer is treated fairly
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years AU General Insurance Claims experience
• Experience in Commercial and Domestic Insurance products/lines
• Experience with any insurance software or tools
