Statutory and Certification Administration Staff

Requirements:

Minimum D3 in maritime studies

Minimum 0 – 2 years in shipping

Fluent in English both oral and written

Required Knowledge and Skill(s): International Convention Regulation (ISM, ISPS, MLC), TMSA, SIRE 2.0, risk management and incident investigation, internal audit, computer literate (e-mail, Ms Office)

Have achievement orientation, customer service orientation, continuous improvement, interpersonal relationship, able to analyze issue and use sound judgment, planning organizing, business process understanding, concern for order, information gathering

Responsibilities:

Ensuring availability all ship certificates documentation on time

Monitoring the validity of Statutory Certificate

Preparing the arrangement for all statutory certificates extension

Preparing the annual budget for certificate’s arrangement and submitting it to Marine Safety Manager in advance

Carrying out extension/renewal of Statutory Certificate’s arrangement with Seacom after approval by Marine Safety Manager

Preparing the yearly budget for certificate’s arrangement and submitting it to Marine Safety Manager in advance

Arranging the Marine Inspector for survey on board for Issuing Ship’s statutory certificates

Reporting the validity of each ship’s Statutory Certificates and informing to Marine Safety Manager to get approval for renewal

Cooperation with technical department when arranging on board survey

Maintaining the relationship with the third parties (government administration, classification, etc.)

Good keeping the Statutory Certificate of each vessel in the office

Preparing the application letter to Seacom for ISM Code and ISPS Code Audit, Extension of Statutory Certificates

Preparing the letter to Seacom for vessel docking extension and change of flag
