
Accounts Receivable Clerk - Winter/Seasonal

Job Description
We are looking to fill the position of Accounts Receivable Clerk at Fernie Alpine Resort. It’s not just the numbers, you are a natural problem solver, every day is an opportunity to learn new things. The ideal candidate will have previous accounts payable or accounts receivable experience. They will be a clear communicator and have an excellent knowledge of Excel and good understanding of accounting software.

You Will:
• Check pricing from price lists and ensure accurate information on invoices
• Prepare invoices for all tour operators and other providers
• Adjust cash sheets as required
• Input data into tour operator reports
• Liaise with customers and send out invoices and monthly statements
• Reconcile aged trial balances
• Assist with month-end duties and other related accounting department duties as required
• Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
• Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
• To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable
