This is a remote position.

Preparation and lodgment of Income Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements (BAS’s) and Installment Activity Statements for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.

Preparation of Financial Statements, including Depreciation Schedules.

Preparation of CGT calculations.

Preparation of FBT calculations and salary packaging reviews.

Bookkeeping data entry (e.g. Xero)

Bank reconciliations

General ledger maintenance

Journal and month end processing

Balance sheet reconciliations

Fully reviewing the end of period draft profit & loss statements

Maintaining familiarity on Australian Tax and ensuring to have up-to-date knowledge on current relevant ATO legislation and issuances.

Research and accurately interpret taxation and other relevant legislation and rulings for clients

Participate in external and internal training as required.

Ensure that all work is error-free and professionally presented and complies with the firm’s procedures and systems.
